Chiplay

I worked on this game while on my first paid job, it was part of an ad campaign for a bubblegum brand.
The aim of the client was to make the brand popular again by distributing codes printed inside the package that could be used as in-game currency.

To fit the model, we developed a game similar to Worms, with 24 different weapons and 10 different hats to buy.

The initial release of the game featured online multiplayer, but because the experience was in its majority unstable due to server capability, we dropped the multiplayer and added minigames.

The campaign was a success for a couple of months, but without further updates, it went down rather quickly.
